I started working with Sarah in November of 2022 with high expectations of a quick fix and a goal for a significant amount of weight loss. My shoulder ached, my knee swelled with any activity, m back was a wreck and my balance was horrible. Sarah's immediate message was "Trust the Process" and that weight loss and bodybuilding take time. She told me to stop stepping on the scale, start eating more protein and track your food, watch your macros (I had to read up on macros). She assisted me with realistic goals, was a consummate coach and never stopped encouraging me. After about 8 weeks, I fell into my old habits of getting discouraged because I wasn't seeing an immediate change. She just kept encouraging me and telling me to trust the process. At 9 months, I was in my home gym and looked at myself in the mirror, I thought, I should take another progress picture and compare it to my first week photos. I sat down on the bench and compared the photos and started crying. Super happy heartfelt tears and sent a text to Sarah saying, "this is me" showing her the photos. Sarah worked though my back going out, my shoulder injury, a knee injury and a hand surgery. No excuses, we just kept on working together. She altered my programs over and over again. This is what I've realized in our three years together. 1. I really don't ever want to be skinny and I always thought that was my goal - I'm choosing to be a gorilla! 2. Taking progress pictures, daily, weekly, monthly, those are what will encourage you to keep moving. 3. I can compare pictures from day one to 3 years later and my body composition isn't even remotely the same, but the scale - well it says, I've lost about 15 pounds and it still fluctuates. 4. I've never been this strong in my entire life and at 58 years old, I finally like me and for the first time in my life, I love what I see in the mirror. Sarah has encouraged me from the first minute in our first session. You want change? Hire Sarah. And remember, nothing is a quick fix, there's no pill, no shot, no special potion that is going to keep the weight off and increase your muscle mass. Just trust the process and work with someone that knows what she's doing. "Believe in the process", toss out your scale and follow her food plans! It's not easy, but Sarah makes it fun. She changed my life and I owe her for that!
